The 9th Annual Bill Cross 5K Walk/Run for BackSnacks is THIS SUNDAY October 6!
Join us for our signature fundraiser. Zona Rosa will once again host our 5K on a beautiful Sunday morning, October 6th, at 8 am. Register using this link. Invite your friends, family and co-workers to join you OR to sponsor your efforts. Together we can raise funds to support our efforts to feed our kids, here in the Northland.
If your company or group is interested in sponsoring our event, please contact Chris at email@example.com OR 816-301-GIVE. It is not too late to be added to signage.
Advocates in Action:
Express Employment Professionals held their annual client appreciation event and added a charitable component. They delivered large jars to over 30 clients with the request to donate spare change, dollars, etc. The grand total of $1,630 will help us feed a lot of children! Thanks for expanding the opportunity to your lovely clients.
These adorable sisters (Mila and Ella) asked for food donations for Ella’s birthday celebration. Lots of 8-year-old girls donated 70 lbs of food, just 6 lbs over what Mila and Ella weigh (we put them on our big scale which elicited lots of giggles). Thanks for the food, big smiles and even bigger hearts from this lovely young family – good job Neeli!!
CALL TO ACTION
Briarcliff Business Partner Alliance has an annual granting program. The decision on the applicant awarded the grant happens via a facebook vote. The nonprofit with the most votes, wins. Fairly simple process that we need ALL our supporters to champion. Please click the link below to go to the post collecting the votes. Enter your vote as a comment, we are #4. You MUST VOTE, “liking” the post does not count. Please vote and then be kind enough to share the link below (copy and paste into your post), with your friends, coworkers, family, etc. we may win! Those dollars would be so helpful to help us continue to feed 2,000 elementary aged children each school weekend and to help stock our now 10 in-school pantries in middle and high schools. Please help us!
